Who Will Be The Winner Of 'The Bachelor' Australia 2020?

At present, SportsBet is currently tipping 31-year-old Irena Srbinovska as the winner of The Bachelor Australia 2020.

The Melbourne-based nurse, who memorably checked Locky's heart rate in the premiere episode after she stepped onto the red carpet (check out the video at the top of the article), is currently leading with odds of $1.50 at the time of writing.

The contestant, whose Instagram bio reveals she is a proud dog-mum and passionate about the environment, may have also recently let slip that that she wins the show. Reality TV podcast So Dramatic! saw that Irena may have hinted that she might she is the winner (or at least, a major frontrunner) in a comment on Instagram when responding to a fan.

'I hope we get some more love story and less of the drama—I have stopped watching for now,' a fan commented on a post.

In response, Irena wrote: 'The love story is coming I promise,' which was accompanied by a smiling face with love-heart emoji.

Not far behind Irena? Former Twitter favourite Bella Varelis with odds of $2.40 on SportsBet.

Bella, a 25-year-old freelance creative with a background in digital marketing who has gained over 55,000 Instagram followers since appearing on the show, was featured heavily in the promo of the show and quickly got the first single date of the series in episode two.

According to her LinkedIn profile, she has associate's degrees in marketing and communications and a diploma in fashion business, previously working as a buyer before forging a career in social media marketing. Rumours recently emerged that there was a contract guaranteeing Bella's spot in the final two, however Network 10 responded shortly afterwards and said the speculation was false and 'no such contract existed'.

Other evidence to suggest Bella does not win includes a set of paparazzi photos published in the Daily Mail on September 15 (see them here), which showed Bella and Bec out for brunch together in Sydney and doing the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk (you know, something you probably wouldn't do if one of you had, er, 'won' the man you were competing for). They are also reportedly living together in Sydney.

That said, there is also a wild finale rumour that Locky actually chooses Bella, but she rejects him, and he then begs to be with Irena. Yikes.

While Locky himself has said that he is still with the winner and doesn't pull a 'total Honey Badger' (total..?), the odds that no one wins are currently at $24.00.

Of course, only time will tell as to who will receive the final rose, but if the accuracy of 2019's The Bachelor Australia winner prediction is anything to go by, it could well be Irena's game!

Colton Underwood went to Singapore with 15 women in Week 4 of The Bachelor, but only 13 remain after an episode filled with conflict. We’ll be recapping each episode and ranking all the contestants weekly on FTW. You can read more at USA TODAY Life.

Caelynn’s rank last week: 2

Caelynn had an extremely eventful trip to Singapore, and she’ll leave the country as the odds-on favorite to go all the way. She missed out on the first one-on-one and group date, but was selected to go on a second one-on-one – which began with a shopping spree. Colton watched in amazement as Caelynn tried on designer dresses, and “gifted her” a huge haul of clothes to take back to the hotel. (It’s unclear if Colton or ABC is paying, but Caelynn gave the credit to Colton).

In a strange move, Caelynn returned to the hotel before her dinner date to show off all the things Colton had just bought her – which came off as a ploy from the producers to get the rest of the cast against Caelynn.

Later that night, Caelynn opened up about a horrific experience she had as a sophomore in college, when she and a group of friends were drugged and raped at a party. Caelynn explained that her experience made it difficult for her to be comfortable with intimacy, but told Colton that she’s never felt so safe in a relationship before.

Later on at the cocktail party, Caelynn pulled pageant rival Hannah B. aside for a chat, and both women agreed to move on and try to be supportive of one another.

Elyse’s rank last week: 1

After her one-on-one date in Week 3, Elyse was barely on the screen for the entirety of Episode 4. Elyse seems to be at the center of some *major* drama next week.

Cassie’s rank last week: 4

During the group date, Cassie and Colton sat down at a fortune teller’s booth, only to find out that they may have been siblings in a past life. That didn’t stop the two from sharing a very passionate moment that night at the after-date party.

Cassie broke down in a confessional over seeing Cassie come home with bags of presents from Colton, but also seemed to genuinely be happy for Caelynn at the same time.

The episode preview hinted that Cassie could be getting a 1-on-1 next week in Thailand.

Hannah G.’s rank last week: 3

Hannah G. visited Colton’s room prior to the Rose Ceremony, and announced that she’s going to attempt to “open up” to him in an attempt to move the relationship forward. Hannah’s quiet nature is definitely a weakness in a show like The Bachelor, and if she waits too long to express herself, she might not be able to make up the ground.

Demi’s rank last week: 7

Demi comes off as aggressive, but she might just be the perfect Bachelor cast member. She’s laser-focused on doing anything she possibly can to give herself a chance to improve her standing with Colton, even if that means making herself the enemy of the show. After making herself the star of the group date – a poorly planned stroll through Chinatown that included 13 women – Demi revealed to Colton that her mother had just been released from federal prison that week. It was a rare serious moment from Demi, but Colton appreciated her devotion to her family.

The second half of the episode centered around Demi’s dramatic blowout with Courtney – but Demi seemed to have Courtney’s best interests at heart early on. When Courtney refused to pursue Colton, Demi urged her to “get out of her own head,” and rightly pointed out that Courtney had shown zero initiative.

Unfortunately for Demi, Courtney’s revenge talk with Colton may have hurt her standing. Still, we saw a different side of Demi this week, and I’m beginning to think she might just be an excellent choice to be the next Bachelorette.

Tayshia’s rank last week: 10

Tayshia and Colton went bungee jumping for the first one-on-one date of the episode, and afterward they changed into swimsuits and talked on the beach. Later that night, Tayshia admitted to Colton that she had previously been married for six years to her very first boyfriend.

Tayshia and Colton seem to have a natural connection, and she seems to be a wonderful person. If anything, Tayshia’s too nice for reality TV.

Katie’s rank last week: 5

Favourite

It was a quiet week for Katie, but she did surprise Colton by buying him a set of chopsticks.

Hannah B.’s rank last week: 14

Hannah B. spent much of her trip to Singapore stewing over her feud with Caelynn, and called Colton’s decision to take Caelynn on a one-on-one date “the most hurtful result that could have happened.”

Hannah tried to impress Colton on the group date by eating a fish eye, and later pulled him aside to address the awkward situation with Caelynn. Hannah admitted that she wanted to step aside if Colton didn’t trust her character, but Colton said that he “felt like I got my Hannah back” this week.

Later on, Hannah and Caelynn *may* have temporarily squashed their beef. I’m betting that only lasts until the next lavish gift Colton offers up Caelynn.

Heather’s rank last week: 6

It looks like Heather will go on a 1-on-1 date next week – and she might receive her first-ever kiss.

Nicole’s rank last week: 8

Nicole struggled to make an impact on the group date, which wasn’t really her fault. Unlike Becca last season, Colton isn’t very skilled at managing a group situation, and the huge number of women vying for attention made it an impossible situation for everyone. There had to be better things to do in Singapore, ABC.

Sydney’s rank last week: 9

Sydney’s lone contribution to Episode 4 was an inexplicable moment where she… wrapped Colton’s arm with gauze while wearing latex gloves? I really have no idea what happened there.

Onyeka’s rank last week: 11

Onyeka failed to follow-up on her Bachelor’s Strongest Woman win during the trip, and didn’t seem to have a big presence in the episode preview. She’s definitely on the bubble.

Kirpa’s rank last week: 13

Kirpa has another anonymous showing, but her laughter in the middle of the Demi-Courtney fight was one of the highlights of the episode.

Who Is The Favorite To Win The Bachelorette

Tracy’s rank last week: 16

Courtney’s rank last week: 15

Courtney seemed to be under the impression that she was The Bachelorette, rather than a cast member on The Bachelor. After barely spending any time with Colton over the first three episodes, Courtney refused to go out of her way to steal a moment with the guy she’s supposed to be making an impression on, and instead resigned herself to waiting around and hoping Colton might notice her.

Who Is The Favorite To Win The Bachelorette

When Demi pleaded with Courtney to make a move, Courtney responded that she’ll “just wait patiently” – yet Courtney was livid with Demi for going back to talk to Colton while she was waiting around. That’s not how the show works, Courtney!
